Pocket Memories!!

Hello Friends :)

I have a mini album to share today. I really enjoyed making this album. This is my first time doing such a miniature project & that too an album. It is made up with an empty tablets carton & a soap carton, yes both combined to add more leafs to my album!!
But love this recycling! I was inspired by Rupa's albums (Rupastofa) to make it & add some vintage look!

Have a look at my mini,

It has a small insert tag to close & bind this album.
I have used a handmade orange paper for front & back cover, inked the design using stencils. Small tiles at the corner are small foam pieces painted with acrylics & crackle medium to add some texture. I want the cracks to be visible but my camera ignored it!
Spine is made up of coloured burlap & pierced an eyelet to hang these pretty charms, few beads & a little dolphin painted in green, golden & copper shades, it was from an old key chain.
The inside of my album:

Some tiny tags here, the pocket holding the tags is covered with hand stitched vellum & added vintage border above the vellum. My album has both sided pages to add extra memories

These smaller flaps are made from soap carton, glued to the tablet carton & then covered with pattern papers.

A tiny chipboard butterfly & ticket label is from my vintage paper collection. A small twine crossed on two buttons to open the flap. Here it opens..

Christmas Card

Hello friends :)

Sharing a Christmas Card today!! I have lots of beautiful Christmas memories since I studied in a convent school were we used to see beautiful Christmas decorations, pretty Christmas tree, Santa Claus and there used to be Christmas plays & poems! And we used to enjoy a lot, singing & dancing & 25 December used to be the last day of our school then we had winter holidays.
So coming out of my memories & back to my card, here it is

Isn't it looking pretty? I just love the pattern made with glittery pink foam strips. Also there is a small bell at the corner made with yellow-golden foam sheet. White lace on the top of foam strips has been added for some snowy look. Then added few rhinestones, pearls, mulberry flowers, a small bow & a feather to complete the look.

Hope you like it! Do tell me, I love to read your comments :)

Cup Cake Card

Hello friends :)
Here is my another post for the day, a pretty cup cake card!!

Isn't it looking yummy? :)
The creamy portion is made up of thick card stock with circular embossing design, for the pinky shade I used oil pastels. This card stock was matted over a pink card stock which was again matted over the card base using double sided tape to give some uplift.
Sentiment is written using stickers.
Cup cake liner is made up of corrugated sheet & decorated with silver glitter.
A quick & easy card!
Hope you like it :)

Mini drawer box

Hello friends!! :)

Hope you all are well. I am back after long days. I really missed this blog land but I was away due to some personal reasons, but now I am back with lots of projects to share!!
Here is my first creation, an altered box. Have a look:

Box is embellished with my handmade flowers, leaves & laces. Butterfly was cut from glitter foam using punch.
Lined the outer side of the drawer with pattern paper & added a jute string to make a pull out knob.

Base has been created using acrylics & texture paste. I gessoed the entire box first then using stencil applied the texture paste & then painted everything using acrylic colours. At the edges did some sponging using distress inks.

This was a chocolate box :)

Hope you like my project!
Let me know :) Thanks for stopping by!
Have a beautiful day!!
