Foam & Die Cutting

Hello Friends,
Sharing a quick and easy card, what I made today. Have a look...

Background die cut is from Peek a boo Designs "Graceful lattice" die set. Love the combo of pink and glitter purple!
Flower was bought from a local craft store, this felt flower matched so perfectly on my card!
For the bottom part I simply used a glitter tape and contrast color die cut sentiment from X-Cut Dies.

Few more closer pics...

I really enjoyed making this quick card and it made my day because when you feel bore and by the end of the day you come up with something creative, it fills back your energy! True isn't?

Have a Great Day!

Altered Shoe Box

Hi Friends, hope you all are doing well.
This time I have altered a shoe box and used burlap sheets instead of pattern paper to cover it.
These gorgeous burlap sheets are from Itsy Bitsy Shabby Chic Burlap Stack.

This is the side view...Just used these metal charms and rhinestones.

Top view of the box with some embellishments...die cuts, chipboards, tags, butterflies and bakers twine. All these craft goodies are also from Itsy Bitsy store and are gifts from my brother. It feels so good when we crafters receive gifts also in form of craft stuff!

Close view of my handmade hibiscus flower, made from Heart felt creations Tropical hibiscus set. Added some shimmer dust and micro beads to it.

Hope you all liked it! Do share!

Have a Great day!

Sea themed Photo frame

Hello Friends,

I am back with my another project which is a photo frame made on sea theme...

I started with a MDF photoframe, bought from a local craft store. Applied strokes of gesso everywhere on it to add some texture and then painted it in different shades of acrylic paints, ultra mine blue, prussian blue, pearl green. Next using circle stencils and white gel pen added some bubbles to my sea...

Ship, light house, floating bottle, dolphin are 3D stickers bought from local craft store. I loved them so much that I brought home 3 sets to use on my future projects. Then added few more elements like sea shells, stones, chipboard coloured in green and white net.

On the upper part I just wrapped some bakers twine after colouring it too in shades of brown and black using distress inks. Loved the different look achieved with twine. Some stamping in black archival ink and I was done..

Hope you all liked my photo frame :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a Great day!

Bottle Garden

Hello Friends, Today I have a colorful project to share giving a fresh nature feeling!
It's a bottle box in garden theme made with an empty water bottle. These plastic bottles are lying at everybody's house and I just thought of using it in some way. Had no idea what I'll do on this but then start working with chalk acrylic paints. This is my first time I am using chalk paints and I was excited to use them on a plastic bottle!

Here I have used matt chalk paint "sailing sky" shade from Itsy Bitsy store. Firstly I prepared the bottle with a coat of gesso then gave it a coat of chalk paint followed by some strokes of black acrylic paint. Then added some script design using stencil and texture paste.

Next step was to embellish it with all flora & fauna.....I used heat embossed chipboards, flowers, leaves, pollen, beads, metal dragon fly. For the lid I thought of using natural twine and I think it really matched well with other embellishments. And did you noticed my tiny rabbit (chipboard) sitting near the bushes and enjoying greenery! I have used color splash in lime green shade to add that green touch. Some more color splash on my flowers...

Birdie chipboard was perfect on the top!

Back side of my bottle....

So here is my bottle with what I started...I have separated the upper portion and my lid is made of chipboard and twine.

I hope you all liked my bottle garden. Do share with me, I love to read what you say :)
Thank you so much for visiting!
Have a great day!
