Mixed Media Wall Art

Hello Friends!

Sharing a mixed media project after months! This one is done recently with Itsy Bitsy supplies and the new product in my crafty stash, an embossing texture paste! Loved the puffy effect it gave!

I was on a long break, away from this blogland and could not spare any time to create, click or share posts. And I feel sometimes it is necessary to take a break, to be with your family and near ones, to reschedule your things etc.

I hope you liked it. Coming up with more projects so stay tuned, till then
Happy Crafting!

Floral Wishes

Hello Friends,
Today I have a lovely layered card to share, made with colour shades of spring season! Bright, beautiful & so vibrant!
Have a look...

The bright purple texture is a thin sheet of thai natural fibre paper, great to use on cards, layouts or other projects. I have layered other handmade & patterned papers beneath it, along with a crochet lace.
Flowers & leaves are all from Itsy Bitsy and Little Birdie crafts.
I used color splash on white organza ribbon to match it with the theme.
Die cut leaves are from Peek a Boo designs.

Hope you liked it, do share your views.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Floral box

Hello my crafty friends,
Hope you all are having a great time.

Today I'm sharing a mixed media box, all in floral theme...made with so many pretty flowers and floral pattern papers.
It's an old wooden box now layered up with chalk paints, colour sprays, crackle medium, papers, flowers and lots of embellishments....

Decorated the front side with pattern papers, laces and metal embellishment.

Flowers and pollens were arranged on the bed of laces, I have also added some glitter to the flowers.
Leaves were stencilled using green glitter paste and added script design too using the script stencil and pink glitter paste.

Hope you liked it!
 Thanks for stopping by!

Have a Great day!!

"Live the Life You've Imagined"

Hello everyone,

I am back with another mixed media project, today I am sharing a reverse canvas made with lots of textures and other crafty stuff, have a look

I clicked few pictures while I was making it, that will show you how I started,

Gave a coat of white gesso to the canvas and a left over tape roll. Then applied a generous layer of crackle medium and finally a coat of chalk paint.

For the pattern paper to stuck inside the canvas, I used Colour Splashes in pink & blue shades and applied texture paste using stencils.

Gave a coat of crackle medium to tape roll too.

Finally highlighted few areas with metallic paint.

Also highlighted the flowers using metallic paints. I have added a die cut design to the tape roll, with sentiment & sequins.

I bought this small bird cage an year ago from  a local craft store but I am happy I used it today on this project as a tea light holder.
All these pretty blooms and texture mediums are from Itsy Bitsy

I hope you liked my project, do share with me your views.
